Born on the west coast but raised in northern Minnesota, Lake pursued creative endeavors at a young age and dreamed of living an artistic and authentic life. After working as a graphic designer, she wanted a new creative challenge where she could simultaneously help people feel good about themselves, so she attended the Aveda Institute in 2014.

After that she followed another lifelong dream of moving to the US Virgin Islands for 2 years where she worked as a stylist in a salon right on the ocean!  But Minneapolis called her back and now she is very excited to be doing hair again in a place she’s called home for 15 years. 

When she is not working as a stylist she enjoys traveling, connecting with new people, dancing, exploring nature and playing with her Coconut Retriever (island dog) Maebel.
