Kayla is a woman of many passions and talents. With a degree in social work and fine arts from Arizona State University, she spent five years dedicated to her community as a social worker before following her heart to pursue her lifelong love of hair. Kayla's caring and creative personality inspired her to become a hairstylist and color expert, and she's been behind the chair for almost a decade now. At the core of her work as a stylist and color expert is a deep passion for creating a personalized experience that helps each of my clients feel confident, beautiful, and empowered. She is a Beacon award winner, skilled in editorial hair, but her true specialties lie in color and extension work. With advanced training in hand painting and balayage, Kayla can create the hair of your dreams in a fraction of the time it used to take, and she's a certified Wella Master Color Expert to boot.

Kayla is passionate about education and teaching, and she's taken on a new role as a Hairstylist Business Mentor through Slice Squad Consulting. She's also an ambassador for Megix10 color line and is constantly working on her craft to learn new techniques and stay on top of trends to offer her clients the best possible experience.

When she's not transforming her clients' hair, Kayla enjoys spending time with her wife and daughter, taking leisurely walks with her dog by the lake, and practicing yoga, Tarot, and spiritual work. With her holistic approach to hair and beauty, Kayla is more than just a stylist - she's a true artist and a dedicated mentor, committed to helping her clients and fellow stylists achieve their full potential.
